I love them. When my hubby and I first got married, we purchased our first Christmas tree and we still use the same one today. I has fond memories for us, and I would never trade that. Since my daughters birthday is on Christmas, it is a VERY special holiday for us. I think that being able to use the same tree every year, is cool. I can't wait till we are old and grey and still putting up that same tree for our grandchildren.

I'm against using cut trees that fill up the landfills, so I was using live trees for a while, but now my yard is full of pine trees that are now taller than my house. I used an artificial tree for a while but it broke last year when we took it down. I don't know what I'm going to do this year.

All the room spray and candles in the world can't replace the smell of a real Christmas tree. It made me sad when my grandmother, and now mother have switched to artificial ones. My husband and I take our kids to go cut down our own tree, it's really a lot of fun.

I think they're great - it's all a matter of personal taste. I 've had both and I'm sticking with my artificial one. They have ones now that look very real and they are a lot less mess in the long run. I used to pick needles out of my carpet for months afterwards with a real one. But I don't have a problem with the people who want real ones. I just prefer mine and I don't really like the smell of pine anyway.

Real trees are great but messy, if you use a real tree make sure you have a tree bag around the bottom ahead of time. Fake trees are great time savers and some are just as pretty. Get a can of pine scent and save yourself a mess!

I've never had a real tree, so we use an artificial one. I dont see a problem with it.

we use an artificial tree, and we cut a hole at one side of the box, so instead of taking the whole thing apart, we just take the top off and stick the rest in the box. it's so much easier to put up every year instead of having to dig through the branches and match colors, etc.

Makes more sense than killing a tree every year for no good reason.
