They shouldnt close up... But if they hadnt healed properly then they may... Just keep cleaning them everyday and put the earing in then take it straight back out just to keep the holes open :)

That is very odd that they wouldn't come out. Did you turn them every day? We (I was trained to peirce ears for work) always recommended doing that ..not that it matters now, I guess. I honestly don't know either, my guess would be that they'll stay open, or possibly close up partially. If it closes up partially, DO NOT re-peirce it in the same spot..some peircers might tell you it's okay but it's not-you'd be peircing scar tissue and it'll not only be extremely painful but give you a big keloid scar bump (cartilidge peircings often have this is done with a peircing gun) and probably get infected. Just keep cleaning them -use a solution from Claire's or Piercing Pagoda, not alcohol, it'll dry them out and make them itchy. They may stay open, give it a few days and then try to put an earring through- not the one they used to peirce, that's generally a bigger gauge than a normal earring and used only for peircing. Good luck and if it seems like it's getting worse, go see a doctor to make sure there's no infection.

You may have an allergy to the earrings you have in. Or you may have just reopened the scab. Get some hypo-allergenic earrings, clean the posts before you put them in. You should be 'twisting' the earring while you're wearing them to avoid the scab forming onto the post of the earring. Keep cleaning them using a gentle soap and warm water or solution specifically for this. Do not use rubbing alcohol since that may dry the skin out and slow healing.

Yeah the holes will close up. If they are bleeding then they are trying to heal, so they will close if you don't put the rings back in. How are you cleaning them? You should be cleaning twice daily at first with antibacterial soap and soaking them in salt water for a few minutes a couple times a day. I have many piercings and this is how I do it.

It is a good possibility that they would close up....when they were taken out after 4 months they should not have bled. Is it possible that your ears are infected? Have you went to your mother about it? If the earrings are left out too long the holes wil close but you need to let them heal too.

no they shouldn't close up, as long as you put earrings in at least every other day for a while. But keep them clean and clean the blood off, but the only way it'll close up is if you leave earrings out for a long period of time. hope I helped.

Usually ear piercings close up in the first six weeks not after that. I suggest you clean your ears and your earrings ( a good gold pair) and put them back in.

Yes, your holes will close up, if u don't put clean new ones, see if u can get gold earrings which are the best.
But of course wash with rubbing alchol first. good luck.

they might, you didn't take them out at all in the 4 months? you should try putting in some surgcal post studs, maybe the ones they pierced you with , it'll hurt a little but it will keep them fromclosing, make sure you clean them every day.

they may close up a little bit at the back which means when you put the earings back in you might need to puncture a small bit of skin that may have grown over. its not really very sore
