ok so i like this guy and we've liked each other for a while......but his friend is EXTREMELY good at math and i suck at math and he's EXTREMELY good at baseball and i have softball tryouts this tuesday and i havn't played since last season.....so was it dumb to ask him to tutor me in math and kinda warm me up for tryouts this weekend?!?!?! and will the guy i like think i'm not interested anymore??

NO IF YOU AND THIS GUY ARE KICKING IT LIKE THAT HE KNOWS YOUR BAD IN MATH AND HE ALSO KNOWS THAT YOU PLAY BALL AND ARE RUSTY, IF HE DOESN'T KNOW TELL HIM AND DON'T TELL HIM LIKE YOUR CONFESSING OR GIVING HIM THE HEADS UP JUST IN CASE YOU F*CK UP. JUST THROW IT IN THERE WHILE YOU GUYS ARE TALKING, LIKE YEA I'M SO HAPPY ABOUT STARTING BACK WITH BASEBALL BUT I'M SO OUTTA SHAPE I THINK I'LL ASK _____(HIS FRIEND) TO HELP ME WITH TRAINING OR WHATEVER YOU SHOULD COME ALONG. Yes he will think that you are not interested in him anymore. So I would get another tutor or invite the guy over when you want help on baseball so you guys can all go to the park or something. It was Kindof dumb but you can still change it! Good Luck :-)

Keep liking eachother, but make sure not to spend so much time with the other guy, or your natural instincts will kick in and get comfy..that means you'll start to feel for the tutor. You are still in school, so remember relationships aren't that important. I think having friends you can turn to and hang out with does the trick when you're feeling loney (with out a bf), so don't sweat it if he ends up turning tail.

The guy you like probably will think you aren't interested- so why don't you ask him to come help warm you up for softball with his baseball playing friend? With two people, one person could pitch to you and the other fetch the ball.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being friends with the other guy, it does not mean you like the first guy any less. Make it a point, as soon as possible, to tell the first guy why it is you asked his friend for the help--chances are since they are friends he already knows that you did--this way he hears it from you, rather than hearing a nasty rumour through the school grapevine

That is fine, as long as you both have no feelings for each other. Sometimes you need help from others, and asking for help does not mean that you like the person. I mean like the person romantically.
At the same time, keep in contact with the guy that you like, at least he still knows that you still like him.

Guys don't want to be able to get "it" that easy, "it" being you. Give him a run for it. Keep him on his toes. Then once ur all set for math & baseball, if it works out, cool. if not, atleast u got what u needed...
