We always try really hard to pay them ontime, but with so many bills to pay every month (insurance, car payment, rent, electricity, gas, phone, cable, cell phone, etc.) sometimes one gets forgotten. But we've been doing lots better since I took over for my husband who used to pay them. I knew it was time to do it myself when I got a phone call from the gas company telling me they were going to shut it off in 5 days unless I paid then...my husband still swears he doesn't know what happened :)

I always pay my bills on time. In fact, I pay some my bills a month early. The potential interest lost is less than the cost of a stamp. So I figure I save about 1/2 the cost of a stamp every month, per utility bill.

I TRY to pay mine on time, but I have some medical bills that are WAY past due..just not enough funds there for me to pay it all! Having food and shelter wins out of the medical bills.

I have always paid on time, if not sooner. Just can't stand owing money. I've always felt that I owe my debtors before I spend money on myself. I have never bought (or rented) beyond what I can afford. It paid off; I just retired - early, way early - and live very comfortably. Thanks be to God and my parents for instilling in me the importance of living within my means.

Responsible adults pay their bills on time, deadbeat. It is especially difficult to find a reason to be late in the era of electronic Bill Pay.

I ALWAYS pay all of my bills on time...your credit is VERY important!

i sometimes pay my phonebill late.. but never late enough to get a final notice
if you keep getting those you'll end up hurting your credit rating

i pay when the paycheck comes in,some are late,i try to pay the ones that have late fees first
