Stocking stuffers don't have to be expensive, candy, hair spray, perfume, nail polish, hair scrunges/barrettes, mcdonals gift certificates, movie pass, pretty pencils with her name on it. Go to the dollar store and look around there are plenty of other inexpensive items that fit well for stocking stuffers. Save the big stuff for under the tree.

Ohhh!! well, i'm a similar age - 14! I love little tit-bits, like some girly make-up, erm, maybe a CD or two, if you have any idea what music she's into! A thing i'd personally love my mum to put in my stocking, is a pencilcase for school - like a colourful funky type - pink! you could slip in some pretty gel pens or something - i'm sure she'd love that!!

Over the years, for my stepdaughter I would stuff the stocking (I always get the bigger ones) with mini books, CD's, a diary, frilly pens, mini perfume samples, fingernail polish, gift cards, cute socks, jewelry, mittens, wallet with dollars in it. I can't think of what else I put in there right now, but you have lots or choices.

Is she into craft stuff? Stores like Ragshop or Michaels or even Dollar Tree have polished glass beads, shells, pens, markers, all kinds of neat stuff. Also date books, candle holders, magnets, tiny picture frames, hard candies..... lots of neat stuff, and great stocking stuffers and the prices are good.

Get her something that makes her feel mature and special. When I was 13 I remember I got my own electric razor for my legs. I remember feeling really grown up. I suggested this to a friend a few years ago with a daughter the same age and he followed my advice and was eternally grateful when she loved the gift.

pieces of chocolate, lip gloss or chap stick( i reccommend burt's beeswax lip balm it is the best), maybe ribbons for their hair ( i am 14 and i still love ribbons plus everyone else my age wears them also), and other small non expensive things like that. That is what my parents usually put in mine and my sister's(who is 21) stockings
