Become indifferent. In other words, they are not worth you becoming upset or giving away even the slightest emotion. (to do so gives away some of your own power) The opposite of "love" isn't "hate" - that's still being emotionally invested. It is to really reach a place in your own head where you could care less if that person won the lottery or got hit by a Mac truck.
Going one step beyond indifference is to mentally wish them well. This is mostly beneficial to your own healing.
But if you're still wanting to be "emotionally hooked in", then the old saying is really still true... "Living well is the best revenge".

Try to learn about the person and find out what might hurt them the most. it may be ignoring them, becoming involved with their mate, stealing from them, sabotaging their vehicle, ruining their reputation, embaassing them publicly, etc.

mine would be for you not to worry about getting back at that person . just leave them alone and don,t worry about what to do to get back at them.think about what to do to move on with your life .if they see that you not trying to get back at them .and that you are try to moving on with your life and not thinking about them. and finding someone that treat you better.and they find out that you find better life with out them and you left them alone . and didn't,t try to get back at them .you have done the right thing they hoping that you will do some thing to show that they hurt you. and by you doing something back to them would just play in to their game. just leave them a lone they will get their at the end . two wrong don,t make it right. if you was to do some thing to them it might come back on you .

voting liberal...the idea that government gets bigger, takes your tax money at confiscatory rates and plans your future scares the living... out of me. im a self reliant self employed person and the future for me with whats happening in washington looks grim.
