Make friends with ONE of them.
They will be your glue. If they are a tight group, you will feel awkward hanging out with them at first, as they get to know and accept you.
This plan doesn't work for tagalongs. You can't bring your group with you. So, if you feel outside now, you should be prepared to leave the others in your current group behind.
They'll think of you as a sell-out, anyway.

Depends on what group of people you are talking about. The popular kids....popularity is short lived and for high school students. live your life and be happy with who you are and dont worry about fitting in with them. The group of drug users.....who needs them. Jocks......start playing sports. New kid at school.....just be yourself and you will make friends.
