My co-workers and I want to get our boss something unique for Christmas. He's a great boss and we would like to express our gratitude. He likes sports, Vegas, casinos, poker if thats any help. He's a great boss and real people person. Any ideas? We have a price range of between $50 and $75.

He has no control over bonuses as we work in the produce dept. of a grocery store and he is just a department manager. By the way, fruit baskets are not an option (I hate making those things)! LOL

Actually, he ALWAYS gets us something for Christmas not to mention he buys us pizza for lunch or doughnuts for breakfast quite often. Not all bosses are jerks.

This is a neat little website. I'd make a cute little basket with a Vegas Theme... That would be fun, and Creative!!

Good luck!!

can't be that great of a boss if you can only spare between 50 and 75 among all of you.

No, just kidding.

A gift certificate to a nice restaurant, or movie passes.

you could get him a jacket of his favourite sports team, a nice poker set with personalized poker chips a gift set from a liquor store of whatever he likes to drink, or just take him out for dinner as a group thing from your department.

This is not all that expensive, but I sure wish someone would buy it for me. I think it's way cool!

Maybe with the leftover money, you could get him a gift card to a nice place for dinner. Or just a general Visa gift card.

We are getting our boss a nice bottle of wine - a bottle of wine in your price range would be perfect for him to use on a special occasion - an anniversary perhaps.

Don't get him anything - because more than likely he isn't going to get anything for you.

Then he's going to feel like a jack_ _ _ when you give him your gift, because in the back of his mind he'll be saying " dammit, I didn't get them anything, now I feel stupid"

Save the cash, spend it on going out for an associate lunch or dinner where everyone can participate, but not share gifts per say.

Get him a gift card from his favorite retaurant. If he writes a lot in his job, then get him a pen---have it engraved. Some pens are really nice. That way when he uses it,he'll remember the ones that gave it to him.
