need help finding info for music?

can anyone please help me or tell me where can i find info for music where can i find all the info on where songs are sampled form as in the "beat" of songs, whats the orginal song from that song please help,if so thank you!

Start at your local public library. See if they can refer your request to a larger library.

For example, The Chicago Public Library has an entire floor of the building and a music librarian desk to serve the musical community.
