If it's your first baby, congrats on being 2cm and almost thinned out. That's good for a first baby. If it's your first or not you can be this way till your due date. When it's your second/or more, your cervix may open a bit as you get further along becuase of the pressure of the baby. Your body has done this before and the cervix is easier to dilate the second time around. Best of luck.

I started to dilate 5 weeks before my due date....and they induced me 3 days late lol! It depends on that baby! It could be tomorrow or in weeks! Relax, walk, have sex and nipple stimluation are all NATURAL ways to get labor going if you want to try. Stay away from any and all herbs and oils. They have possible side effects for labor and your baby. Good Luck though!

in case you're having Braxton-Hicks plenty, it is your bodies way of practising. The decrease back spasms could be hard work, or muscle spasms on your decrease back from being 36 weeks prego. you're able to try strolling somewhat extra to help the baby drop, yet confirm somebody is there w/u in case u do bypass into hard work. yet once you're having those at night and that they can be deceptive , extensive-unfold for hours then stop, attempt to place down on your area and positioned your ft up, take your techniques off it in between contractions,(yet save TIMING THEM & LOG the circumstances.) it will take place until eventually now u know it. solid luck.

I was dilated 2cm at 32 weeks and 4cm at 36 weeks and had my son three days before my due date. there's no way to say when you'll go into labor.

If this is your first, you could be here until your due date, if this is a 2nd or more pregnancy you could go at any time.
