my mother in law only wears them, and i was thinking about getting a pair to help them move...whatcha think?

personally i don't like them... but the other day i was looking in a clothing magazine and i actually saw them advertising overalls... they were normal baggy ones though.... they were tighter like the in style jeans ans were worn over sweaters or something...it really depends what type of overalls they are

I think that overalls are coming back into style. Some people may think that they are outdated, but to me, if they are comfortable and look good on you, then you shouldn't care much what everyone thinks about what you're wearing, if they think that overalls are outdated. I think that they are cute and they are seriously coming back into style. Trust me. They can be flattering if you wear them in the right way, with the right accessories. Just trust your instincts and go for it!!!

Outdated? Are you serious?
That would imply that they were 'socially fashionable' at some time...I don't think they were EVER considered flattering.
Just considering buying them suggests something about your fashion sense / self image...If there were such a thing as the fashion police, they would serve you the death sentence for wearing them, FOR ANY PURPOSE.
THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE ABOMINATION!

I think if you are comofortable wearing them, then go ahead! If you want to wear them outside, perhaps you should consider buying the more "stylish" kind and not the baggy ones.

they are very outdated! but if you just want to wear them moving or something i guess thats okay.

Overalls are VERY outdated.
Unless you're some red-neck-hillbilly-Kansas-farm-living-cow-milking-pig-poop-scooping-KKK-member-hick, then there's no reason to be wearing overalls!!! lol :D

welll. its depends on the pair.I would suggest a piar that is alittle more fitted rather than the standard loose pair.

I LOVE OVERALLS FOR ACTIVITIES LIKE MOVING. I USUALLY WEAR THEM SHOVELLING OR GARDENING. I HAVE A KACKI CARHART PAIR- THEY NEVER WENT OUT. ACTUALLY SUSPENDERS ARE EVEN COMING BACK IN.
