Most sales Departments Christmas Tree's Are kept Simple
But have Large Ornaments like Glass Balls and Huge Bows
I would stay in these Colors
Red,Green, Gold, and Silver
Thats more Traditional
Ifyou want to get Bold than use Brighter Colors along with that
like Turquoise, Purple and Fuscia
Your job should have all the decorations already unless they want you to shop for them - I would get lots of large Decorations - stuff that catches your eye - Large Snowflakes & Candycanes are some ideas too
And Dont forget the Lights unless its a Pre-lit tree

No matter what kind of ornaments you use you can always tie red ribbon bows on the ends of the branches where there might be spots that can't support an ornament. It finishes off the tree with more color and no empty spots. Make sure the bows have at least a three inch tail hanging from it. I usually use satin type ribbon that I buy on spools at the craft store. Have fun.

Traditonal would be fine, however if you mean creative ideas: try something along the line of what you sell, using the logo as the decorations etc.. or ask for volunteers to donate an item to decorate the tree and get everyone involved. Hope this helps somehow.

Sales dept for what kind of firm? You could start out with a basic tree with mini lights and then pick up a theme that picks up on what your company does. If it's a company that owns pet food stores, go for animal shaped ornaments, even dog and cat toys on loops of yarn. Or if you are in a tropical climate- go for tropical style ornaments- shells, flamingos, ets.... but I like the idea of a theme.

What do you sell? Maybe you could print pictures of your products on cardstock, cut them out, punch a hole in the top, add string or ornament hanger & hang them up!
