I will attempt a quote.
"The Arabs that are Muslims will always hate the people that believe in democracy.
In a democracy you can worship as you see fit and the laws of the land are made up by the people.
In Islam God rules and only the clerics can make the laws."

The main reason people fight over religion is that they see their religion as being the only religion, if you read further into the Holy books i.e the Koran(not spelt correctly), the Jewish religion and the Catholic religion you find one similarity, that we are taught to be peaceful and tolerant of others beliefs, I myself am religious, but don't see that this should me having friends of other faiths or stop me from appreciating their beliefs, whether we call Him God, Allah, Chrishna, Buddha, all these words are supposed to mean peace, love and tolerance, not separatism and violence

Maybe he's purposely not saying because many religions and societies have caused problems in the world. What about when the crusaders rampaged, killed and raped when spreading Christianity? How about when Hitler wanted to rid the world of Jews so Germany could be pure and Christian. I am a Christian but I am not blind to the crimes many have committed in the name of any religion. It makes me sick.

They get to be right in their own minds, even if they aren't. Self-importance, self-righteousness.
