Uk mobile phone MHZ 1900 & 850?

I have several US mobile phones that works on 850 & 1900MHZ and want to use then in the UK. I am aware we don't in the UK use the two 1900 & 850 MHZ this model of phone operates on, but i wanted to know if it would be a massive job to convert them to UK spec- or if they may on the current MHZ the operate on work in some restricted fashion?

uk phones operate on 900 & 1800 mhz, I dont know of any way to convert your phones. sorry

I do not think it will be possible to make them work in the UK at any reasonable cost. Sorry.
