I live in Downey, Ca. (southern california). I am planning to get basic Digital Cable. No DVR or Hi-Def. receivers. Just basic digital receivers. No Extra channels, packages, or tiers (only sports).
Can someone who has something similar to this tell me all you fees and charges.
And what is your total bill?
thanks for your time

I used to work for Time Warner Cable.....How many receivers are you thinking of getting. Digital Cable is $44.95 price includes 1 digital receiver. each additional receiver is $6.95. How many rooms total with cable. 1 room installation is $28.99 and each additional room is $13.99.

Let's use this for an example o.k. Let's say you wanted cable in just one room it would be $44.95 (Digital cable +Sports) + $28.99 installation + all state and local sales taxes and fees which varies according to states. That total is required when the technician comes to install your cable service which they will consider your first month bill in advance.

Also they will do a credit check on you to see if a deposit is required. A deposit is only used on the receivers. The deposit for the receivers are $50.00 each digital receiver. You won't have to pay that if you credit comes back good. And it can't be waived. Deposits are credited back after 6 months of paying your bill on time or if you disconnect. So if you have bad credit look at paying about $150.00 to $160.00 for your first month. After that your monthly bill will be $44.95 plus local taxes. Adjust the price to include more rooms and more receivers.
