I have found excellent luck here: http://www.the-bookplace.com they are located in Broken Arrow, Ok. and are a great place to get used books...mainly paperbacks. They don't rip you off on shipping charges like the other ones do and if they don't have it..you can ask them to find it for you sometimes. If you don't find what you want on the website....you can reach them at (918) 455-1422....they are really nice on the phone so don't be afraid to ask. hope that helps you out a little. I like half.com, it's an ebay company but has a buy it now feature on all books. You can also create a wish list and they wil email you if books become available.
