go camping away do it under the nite moon light and express how very glad you have him and hes not in war and how much he means to you .. guys really like simple things that dont cost a lot private time outdoors alone away from phones pc traffic -cooking out in the campfire very beast like and therefore the intimate night will be beast like. something very unpredictable. ya buy him a camp stove and tent/ or a cool cool coat then he will say what will i use this for then say were going away.alone. put it this way if u ever get divorced he will be set lol

You are so sweet! I am sure that anything you do will please him, but think of his favorites. What is his favorite food? Music? Sports? Try to tie these together with an evening of great dining, a new CD by his favorite band or singer to listen to on the ride, then maybe an event (football, basketball, hockey game)
The more thought you put into one night, the more that he will see that you care about HIM. Don't forget to show him romance at the end of the night. His heart needs to be pampered, as well!
