all my tracks back , they must be somewhere????

the others are right and also wrong. its set to sync every time you plug in, and in doing so takes away everything off so it can reload with new stuff.
you can connect an ipod to more then one system. just have to change the settings so it doesnt auto sync.

as for the lost tracks, they are gone for good.

no i think what happens is that because the iPod is registered to another user/computer, the store automatically assumes it is lost, stolen or sold and therefore u are not entitled.

u should have backed it up onto disc first. shame u didn't ask me before.

Unfortunately, this happened to me, and unless you have a backup of itunes, then I am afraid you have lost them.

Like me you will have to start all over again.

Nope. You can only plug an ipod into one computer... once you plug it into a different computer it erases everything. You're screwed, sorry.
