Anybody have one? What do you like about it? What don't you like about it? I know you can play GameCube games on it, but can you use the GameCube controllers, too?

you need a gamecube controller to play gamecube games.
I dont have a wii, yet. Its being shipped, i preordered slightly late and am low on the list, hopefully within a week i will have mine.

I don't have one yet, but I am looking forward to buying one. I do know you can use gamecube controllers on some games, like SSBB (super smash brothers brawl), and also that the wii-mote can slip out of your hand if you don't have a good grip, possibly breaking your TV.

The wii is AWESOME!
It can go on the Internet, its wireless, you can download games, it uses a sensor bar, its $350 less than PS3 and its easier to find than PS3!It can also play Gamecube games, load Camera and Cellphone pictures, and saves Wii games into the console itself!
And its backwards compatible, uses wireless internet (wi-fi) and can detect the Wiimote's signals from as far as two houses away!

Walmart is getting a limited shipment on Dec. 6th. And I do mean limited. Only 3 per store. We can't get one despite Nintendo stating in their press release that they would have plenty for the upcoming Christmas season. Yeah, uh huh.
Oh well, patience patience. We'll probably get our after Christmas.
