Once when I was plastered. My friends told me the next day while my head was still pounding. I asked them why they stood there and watched instead of stopping me. They said that they wanted to see if I would eat it.

No, but I have this new student who picks his nose. And no, I'm not a Kindergarten teacher - I teach high school! He's 16 and from another country (Vietnam) so perhaps it's not unusual in his culture. I lived in Africa for two years and people would pick their noses right in front of you there - the unpaved roads mean a lot of dust gets up there!
Anyway, I know I need to take him aside and talk with him privately and let him know that it is not acceptable in our culture. I've been putting it off but I know I need to do it.
