i wanted to know if ashanti, beyoncè's and other r&b (afro-american) stars' hair is fake, if its all extensions?
whats da original hair of an afro american girl look , and feel like?

They all have extensions. The wear and tear of their hair for shows and shoots damage hair.

The original look for an Afro American is curly and heavy. Also, it all depends on genetics. Ashanti and Beyonce have a better grade of hair, meaning it is thick and long without added chemicals to really straighten it. Beyonce hair is pressed. Ashanti's hair is relaxed to manage it.

LMAOROTF!!! Are you serious? Most Celebrities black and white wear extensions for the sole purpose of conserving their hair b/c they are always on the road and have to change their look so frequently. To be honest, you can't really say. Most african-american (where the he!l did you get afro-american from Michael Richards?) are mixed with white and indian from the times of slavery so ALL of us are not even ALL black. Some people have straight hair, some have very curly hair, most of us just fall in between. Our hair feels like hair, what else would it feel like. Some of our hair is a little drier which means we have to use oils in our scalp, whereas most white people's scalps produce oil, in which if it's not washed daily, gives that "greasy" look. Why do you ask?

it doesn't feel any different than white people hair, except white people hair is more silky because its a different texture. But white people wear extensions majority of all women celebs wear fake hair no matter what their color is, Jessica Simpson has her own weave hair extension line...
