Yes usually you do start to show earlier because your uterus knows what it is doing this time. Also the baby tends to be bigger as well. The good news is that you will probably gain less weight this time, but you will have a harder time getting the weight off.

I am sorry but I was reading what one girl wrote and she wrote that she only gained 3 pounds and had an 8 pound baby, maybe some people are just slow on math, anyway I had to say that, I had 4, My first was 6 pounds 2 oz, my second was 6 pounds 11 oz, my third was 7 pounds 1 oz, after all them I had a little pudge, my last was 8 pounds 10 and a half oz, when I was done, My stomach had a big pudge, now 3 years later, I hate my stomach. But life goes on, The pudge is probably the hardest thing to lose. Each pregnancy, my babies got bigger, and it is normal to get a little bigger with each child, as it is easier to give birth to each child, as in faster not less painful. Hope I helped with your problem, good luck

This is really not true. I am a mom of 3 and I gained weight differently for all three. I am overweight also, and I must say that for my last pregnancy I only gained 3 pounds and had a healthy baby boy weighing 8 lbs 3oz. As for showing faster , again every pregnancy is different. I wore my normal clothes until 8 months before I started wearing Maternity clothes. I think as long as you try to eat well and stay as active as you can you should be OK. Enjoy your pregnancy its the most beautiful feeling in the world.

The best thing you can do if you are afraid of putting on too much weight during your pregnancy is to eat healthy and excercise regularly. I didnt have a bigger pregnancy with my second child but I did with my third one. The reason I think was due to the fact I didnt shed the weight after the second child. So I was already overweight and was pregnant again. If this is your case then I think a sensible eating plan and lots of water aong with excercise will help you keep your fat levels down and the weight you will be carrying will be just the baby and your fluids. I did that during my third pregnancy and went back to my pre pregnancy weight again. Breastfeeding will help you burn calories fast too so if you can breastfeed that will help you lose weight too.

I showed almost right away with my second baby. With my first I didnt show till about 6 months. I'm also bigger this time around. My belly is bigger and I just turned 8 months. I'm bigger then I was at nine months with my son.
Since your muscles and everything have already been stretched you will show sooner with each pregnancy past your first.

Women tend to carry 2nd pregnancies lower and show earlier because their muscles are stretched out more.
Who cares if you're HUGE as long as you and the baby are healthy?!!! Eat right, get regular non-strenuous exercise and you'll bounce back - don't forget to drink LOTS of water - it will help the elasticity in your skin so it shrinks back after the baby.

I have 3 children and gained different weight with all of them but was showing earlier and my first chid was my biggest. No it doesn't mean you will get bigger necessarily or have a bigger baby. Just eat healthy and exercise. Ask your OB if you are worried. I wish you the best of luck and enjoy your baby!

you can show sooner, but I didn't get as big with my second child as I did with my first. I still had a lot of weight left over from the first pregnancy and I just was a lot more careful about what I ate, and I walked a lot. So in the end I was only big in the belly, in fact thats what the nurse said, I was all BELLY, and all in the front.

Usually you do because your muscles have already stretched out once. But sometimes if you are already overweight, it doesn't show up as fast. Just eat healthy and don't worry about your weight unless your doctor says you are gaining too much.
