So, we have the Dodgers and Angels in MLB. Clippers and Lakers in the NBA. Even the Kings in the NHL. What about a football team in the NFL?

Its odd that a city so large doesn't have a NFL team. For some reason the city can not support an NFL team. The Raiders were there for a period and then they went back to Oakland....The Rams left for St. Louis. I have heard L.A. just doesn't want to build a new stadium. I have also heard that the fan interest isn't there....And i think are people in LA just insane not to like football. I feel sorry for the people in Southern Cali that are NFL fans they because don't have a local NFL team to call their own. L.A. needs to get their act together. I mean we have two teams in the bay area that are hugely supported and they are right across the bay from each other.. GO NINERS!

We are in dire need of a NFL team. We had the horrible Rams for years but when they left....the Raiders came down from Oakland...only to go back up. So we have been team-less for years. It doesn't help that the only place a team could play is the Colosseum which is old and out dated.
I've heard the main reason a team franchise isn't started here in LA is not only the venue issue but that LA fans are fickle and attendance is generally low. UGH

Of course they Should it ridiculous for the 2Nd largest Media Market in America to be without an NFL Team, one thing you can do is Renovate the Coliseum so the Raiders move back, and built a Stadium in Anaheim, so the 49ers can move there, furthermore San Francisco doesn't want to built a new niner stadium.
LA take advantage of the Bay Area's NFL Mistakes.

Historically they have not supported professional football teams in LA. Doesn't seem to be a lot of interest from the fans there. Suspect they eventually will get a team again if only because of the size of the market and the low IQ's of several current pro football team owners.

With 32 teams being ideal, I think LA should only get a team if another city "loses" theirs. That is, like Baltimore getting the Browns because Cleveland wouldn't build an NFL quality stadium until they were given a team by the previous commissioner. Not like Baltimore losing their team because it was stolen by Indianapolis and the Irsays. I live in the Baltimore area now and hate the Ravens, so city affiliation is not the basis of my opinion--fair play is.
If LA wants a team, steal the Browns (and change the team name).
Oh by the way---GO STEELERS!

No they shouldnt have a team...they have 2 baseball teams and all those other teams...some areas dont even have teams that could use them (Las Vegas) or somewhere...Think of Baltimore...they only have a football and a basebal..no basketball or hockey. LA already has to many sports teams.

LA is a third world city. Football causes some form of invisable conflict that can not be resolved.
