Yes, it is very difficult. When you move to a different state without the friends and family you had, you give up your entire support system, and I am here to tell you, at first you think everything is fine, but when a crisis comes and you have no one to lean on other than by phone, it is so rough, and draining. Think hard before leaving your comfort zone, believe me it is so hard.

Yes. And honestly, it was the most traumatic event of my life. I was also young. I was going to college.
You can always call the people that you know and love back home when you are lonely.
And this was the time I really started asking God for hope and strength in my life. He made things so much better. Just knowing He was there. So I was never really alone.
You can also make friends by going out to public places... doing the things that you love. You will find friends. I promise. : }

yeah, it is. I have moved to three different states in a year and a half, do to my job..It kinda sucks at first cause you don't have anyone to hang out with, but once you get to know a few people it's not so bad...

Yes it's harder, especially if you don't have family in that state. But it's also a good opportunity to get out there and meet people.

No. It's easier because you can meet more people when you're out of your old comfort zone. Out of the rut.
