Last year I had the pleasure of enjoying the Christmas period holidaying in Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt. Now that Christmas is on the horizon again I am starting to think of a warm, sunny place to spend this year's Christmas period.

In addition to being hot and sunny in late December it must be close to the sea and have a vibrant night life. Can anyone make any suggestions?

Hi Pagreen, Yes, why not think of x-mas trees' and beauty white snow. I would like to spent x-mas by a flaming fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate in my hand. That would be in the sierra mountains at a skii resort in Nevada,Ca

i didn't spend a Christmas in my own home until I was nearly 40 - for various reasons. That is the only place I want to be now.

For you, however, what about the Caribbean?
