I've noticed a lot of people have very developed opinions and stereotypes about what "all Californians" are like. Now that Californians are being forced out of their home state and moving elsewhere, how do you (people who are NOT californians) feel about other Californians moving to your state or country? Do you feel they are a good addition? They bring money for the economy is that good or bad? Have you made lots of Californian friends? Do you hear anti-Californian jokes?
Try to keep it civil and intellectual without too much name calling - be MATURE! PLEASE IDENTIFY YOUR AGE AND HOME STATE! This is a serious survey. Thanks!

I'm 42 and reside in Arizona. We don't like the Californicates coming to our state because they bring Big City Ideas with them and want to change our state into what they just left. If they wanted to come here and adapt to the way Arizona people live, it would be fine, but they bring their big cars, big families, big money and try to change us. We resent it! They don't know how to drive unless they are attached to our bumpers, they can't communicate unless there is a cell phone attached to their heads while driving and they are just plain rude.

I'm 21 from Michigan. You know, we could use some more Californians over here and closer to the east. From what I've learned and encountered, East coast mentality is very time oriented, stressful, systematic. West coast mentality, with it's cheerful focus on emotion, is a laid back answer to the East coast. The Midwest where I am is caught in the middle, closer to the east, and I'd much rather bring the west here than move there :)

im 27. i have no opinion of californians. it wouldnt matter to me, you know if they worked and took care of their family and things like that. i dont know any californians.

You are making it sound like people from California are some dangerous cult. California is a state just like NY is..I dont see how there is a whole lot of difference.
