how pathetic was the acting tonight. i thought it was way over the top! rolling round in the mud! i couldnt watch it, it was so stupid. Does anyone know the outcome of Pauline's lie?

Ahhh, glad someone else thought so too! I posted a question about halfway through the show because I could not believe how demented Jane looked lurking through the town. As I said in that question--she did not look like someone who was wandering around dazed and confused. She just looked like a hunchback who couldn't walk in high heels. The best was the big muppet eyes when she was yelling at Ian just before the mud fight. Under no cirucumstances should your eyes be open so wide that you can see white all the way around the pupil. It does not convey anger, it conveys bad over-acting.
I had previously heard rumours that the Vic burns down over Christmas and Pauline dies in that---but now that they've had the fire in the Folwer's house, perhaps those Vic rumours were wrong?

I actually didn't watch it tonight and normally I never miss an episode. I feel very let down by the whole thing and it's become very boring. I don't know the outcome of Pauline but as she is leaving at Christmas she's going to be in every episode until then and I can't bear to watch the sour old trout. God knows how Eastenders win the National TV award every year as the other soaps have been much better of late.

Usually i watch it, but tonight it was just on in the background it was really pathetic and quite embarrassing... I thought Pauline died of a brain tumour on Christmas day, but apparently not...

i have heard that sonia finds out about her lie and they have a big argument,which causes pauline to fall and die.wendy richards who plays pauline is leaving at christmas so maybe its true,but yes,tonights programme was very far fetched and stupid.

WOW.....I have not seen that show since Feb.91'. Dirty Den, Angie, Arthur, Shell etc...
Now, I have to watch Coronation Street on CBC and we're only at Danny losing his mind.......
I remember watching Neighbors as well whilst living there. Back when Jason and Kiley were popular.
Only Fools and Horses was great too!!

Paulines lie gets found out. She does die on Christmas day,word has it, she is murdered!!!

Well nobody knows mate. But the mud was so embarrassing go all pink and the when Ian said "hit hit me more ".I just couldn't bear it.

Pauline gets found out that she is not dying , she is in fact pregnant by jim branning and dot kills her in a fit of pique by ramming that scruffy little dog down her throat.
