I have rented quite a few U-Haul trucks for both business and personal use in my lifetime. I have never had a problem with their equipment. You do not have much to move. It sounds like a 14' van would be adequate. The U-Haul dealer can recommend the best size for the amount of stuff that you have to move.

Good luck with your moving project.

I dont know that particular area...but there have been amnay reports on U Haul that they are the worst company to rent a van for. They are unsafe and have caused untold accidents in Canada and USA. I think is was W5 (Canadian news) that did the report and the Winnipeg Free Press also ran articles on them.

Sorry I cant help you more than to possibly stop you from a bad van rental. My condolences on your MIL's passing.
