There have been many different people in my life that has had a great impact on me. I could never just pick one because each of these different people have affected me in many different ways, they all taught me something special to take with me as I go though life. I have been taught to be independent, loving, caring, honest, but most importantly I have been taught to be myself.

I would say the world, my enviroment and peple have made tremendous impacts on my life! My parents sheltered me alot. Everything was kind of black and white for a long time. But once i was able to leave home and take in the world i started to get a more grayish view! And things started to make sense. A Little bit!

My ex because he taught me so much about myself on the level of what I would endure and go through just for the sake of love and especially what I should look out for in a potential significant other and relationship. For how little of think of him, I know it sounds kind of weird but by having an absolute low point with him, gave me the strength to leave and find happiness again outside of a bad relationship.
Second, would be someone who began really cementing my suspicions of my now ex-husband. They came into my life at a point where I was always depressed and down about myself. They saw me for who I was and accepted and appreciated me. They exposed my ex for the scumbag that he truly was and showed me that I deserved better. Having him do this for me, helped provide a reality to everything that was going on because my ex would always lie and I would catch him on things but never did I have any substantial proof to get myself out of the denial. It was also the first time that anyone really knew what lurked behind the facade that my ex and I played for everyone in regards to our marriage. One of the last things that guy said to me was "No matter what, I just want to see you get away from him and be happy". and that always stuck. It was the beginning of my gathering the strength to move on and finally being able to see again that I was a good person and that I had deserved better.
Lastly, my daughter has made a significant impact on my life by just being a part of it. No matter how upset I could or can be, she provides me with a reason to smile and to have hope in better things to come. It is very inspiring to see a child so full of hope and laughter as well as creativity and just no worries, that you can't help but have it rub off on you to some degree. She gives me something to live for and motivates me to be a better person so that I can set a good example for her and show her that there is no limits on what she can achieve in life...:)

I'd have to say my Mother. She did a wonderful job raising my sister and I on her own. Because of her - I know how to be independent, strong willed and never let anyone walk all over me. I thank her everyday.
