I wash my hands after using restroom. I have never heard anybody doing so before.

Always after and I don't touch the door knobs either because many people don't wash and then touch the door to leave the bathroom then you touch it and its on you after you just washed your hands. Have you ever seen the Today show when they do the "how many and what kind of germs are on what" shows? It is disgusting!!! It would make you through up. Did you also know just washing your hands doesn't kill those germs? You have to use a lot of soap and hot water and you have to lather your hands with soap the equivalent of singing happy birthday to you 2 times to kill all the germs off your hands! I couldn't believe it when they said it. Makes you think!

General sanitary rule of thumb, wash hands with soap and water after you use the restroom. Let air dry. No towels because the bacteria you just washed off becomes airborne again and you're re-infecting someone else.

All the time. I had a roomate in college who was going to be a nurse and whenever she went to the restroom she never washed her hands. It is just gross to me. I wash after.
