Okay every pregnancy is different.. for instance this is my fifth pregnancy fourth baby (lord willing everything goes okay) when i was pregnant with my first born a girl i had morning sickness for the first 3 months and then it went away. My second pregnancy was a miscarriage. My third pregnancy(girl) i was sick 24 7 for the whole 9 months no matter what i did. My fourth pregnancy(girl) i was only sick when i would go to work i was fine at home but the minute i went to work no matter what time it was i would get sick. This pregnancy i'm cogested therefore i gag alot which in turn makes me .. well you know.. its not sickness.. its congestion and its getting on my last nerve. You can try ginger ale or these new ginger altoids.. they say ginger works.. and it has sometimes. Or peppermints the little redand white kind work good.. if i feel sicki just take one and it slowly goes away. Now it may work for you and it may not.. im not sure but every baby is different and every pregnancy is different.. My best friend did not have sickness with her son but now is sick alot and is wondering if its a girl.. Just go find out when you can and you'l feel better . there are a million old wives tales about how to find out before you actually find out .. like the heartrate if its above or below something its one sex or the other.. Good ole technology i guess.. but alot of people are like the doctor said it was this but then i had this.. so i guess it just depends on the person.. go with your gut if you feel like getting blue maybe its a boy.. i dont know .. just hopefully i have helped from one pregnant person to another

I never had morning sickness with my son and Im pregnant with a girl and have. But that doesn't mean anything. Every pregnancy is different. Nothing helped my morning sickness either. I feel you. I just had to wait for it to go away.

Morning sickness with one pregnancy that is absent in the next is not a sure sign of the baby's sex. I was not ill with my first (a boy), always ill with my second (another boy) and believe it or not even sicker with my third (Oh look, another boy)! Sometimes nothing makes the nausea go away. My trick was to drink a large glass of water right as I was feeling the need to vomit and that would at least save me from dry heaving.

I am 33 weeks pregnant with a boy and have been sick this whole time. Not sure if that is just because I am having a boy or just my luck. Congrats on the baby!

Every pregnancy is different. I've been pregnant three times. Sadly none of them made it to the second trimester, but the first one, I only had one wierd food craving, and promptly threw up after eating it (potato chips and "robin egg" malt balls that you get at Easter). The second pregnancy I didn't crave anything, had no morning sickness, but I had a bad back ache and an incredibly tight uncomfortable feeling in my stomach, like really bad gas. And I slept non-stop. Third pregnancy I only threw up twice and didn't want to eat anything but bunless hot dogs dipped in ketchup. And none of this has anything to do with the sex of your baby.

I don't know. The old-wives tale is that severe morning sickness means you are having a girl. I guess that you will have to wait until your ultrasound.
But for my all-day-long-nausea I eat peppermint patties. They seem to calm my stomach the most.
Good Luck!!

Have an ultrasound to find out the sex of your baby. Eat something sour to stop your morning sickness.
