No! It's just polite. I talk to my cats all the time, and my talking goes way beyond "bless you". The crazy thing is that sometimes they seem to understand me and act accordingly! I find my self saying the same things to my cats as my mom said to me when I was young. Does that make me crazy? Maybe, but at least we're happy.

This cracked me up!! I have a policy of never saying "Bless you" when someone sneezes, but if my dog or cat does; there I am saying it!! I don't know why! But, no, you're not crazy!

No. I think that's normal. I tell my cat and dog "bless you" everytime they sneeze too. Its polite. I'm sure they say it to me as well and you like wise.

That surely doesnt make you crazy.. me in a frantic tizzy because it dipped below 60 , to find my dogs winter coats .. is crazy.. obsessive.. and shows care! lol

Not at all. I do it all the time. My dog is always watching me and I often talk to him as if he'll answer me. It just beats talking to yourself or being alone.

Don't do it around strangers or often around people...you will forever have the stigma of crazy cat person if you do.......
