The plastic frames on my glasses broke and I glued them together with Krazy Glue. The bond seems pretty strong, but how strong is it really? My glass were pretty expensive and I was hoping to get another year out of them, it is possible, or will they re-break in the future? Anyone have success with this kind of repair?

It is strong, but tends to be brittle. Don't crumple or knock your glasses around as this may cause the glue to crack again. Good luck! (My mom just did the same for hers and its been holding well for over a month.)

I don't know how strong it really is, but remember one old commercial of theirs that showed a guy (a large construction worker) hanging onto his hard hat which had been super glued to an I-beam...

PS: Just in case some people don't know already -- if you get it on your skin acetone (usually) found in cheap nail polish remover will eat the glue off, but not your skin.

the most excellent glue made is likely gorilla glue made through Lutz record and equipment Co. it really is on the whole a timber glue yet would artwork on textile. I timber attempt a product referred to as goo or a fabric glue accessible at fabrics or branch shops.

I've seen people glue car bumpers with the stuff, it's good. Just don't get it on your skin... you'll remove several layers of skin if you try to get it off of skin.
