Which are we in more need of? I'm chaning careers and want to become a history and social studies or english teacher.

Well I'm not trying to be disrespectful or anything but you do know that you should look your stuff over before you
put it out there right? "I"m chaning careers" instead of
"changing" makes people wonder if you should be teaching English. Don't me mad! mistakes happen. I was going to say, teach English because too many kids do not speak correct English and need to if they want to get anywhere in this society.

English is more basic and needed much more for future success. History is also excellent, but not quite as primary as English. I am sure you will do a great job either way. Good luck!

English is needed more. You can work history into
English lessons.

the history books are inaccurate and full of outrageous lies!
Seriously, if you want to better these children's life's, teach them how to write and communicate.
