But when there's 12 wolves, though smaller, it will frighten the big moose that will start running. Also lions. Lionesses do a large part of the hunting and weigh about 250 sometimes 300 pounds and a Cape buffalo weighs over 2,000 pounds. But when 9 of those lionesses come after the buffalo it's scared and starts running.
