This is like a yes and no question, because yes you could feel bad for them if they got the disease by birth or rape. Then it wouldn't be their fault for getting the virus, but i think its a totally different story if they choose to have sex randomly or are doing drugs that include needles and such that would contract Aids. It all depends on if they caused it or when they got they were indeed innocent...

It all depends on how that person got aids, if they were sharing needles or having unprotected sex no. If they were born with it or had a bad blood transfusion then yeah I really do. The choices you make dictate the life you lead.

My heart goes out to people with HIV/AIDS. No one deserves to get the virus even if they got it through unprotected sex.
People who say they deserve it for having unprotected sex and/or having sex with multiple people are idiots and they need to become educated.

Yes I most certainly do.
Most of them got it because they did not get proper sex education.
Can you blame them then?
Say it is their own fault, they did this on purpose?
And there are thousands who got raped and received that nice gift.
Who in his or her right mind would wanna have this virus,if you ask them who suffer from it:they will all say no,i wish I knew better.
I myself could have had it easily, but I lucked out, nothing to do with being smart. Was way stupid myself, but since I am a volunteer to assist people with aids I do know way better.I am talking about the late eight ties not yesterday.I think I own it to those in need to help out wherever i can.
AND I WILL DO THAT AS LONG AS IT IS POSSIBLE FOR ME TO GO ON.Greetings:Rob.xxxx

I feel empathy for them. The thing that bothers me about the whole thing, is how judgemental people are, especially about gays. It's been reported by the Surgeon General that 70% of hetro men are infected and spread the disease. It's not like it's a death sentence, like it was in the beginning; but it's still a horrible way to have to live.

I feel more pity for them if they got it through a blood tranfusion, birth, or an unfaithful partner, or anything else that wasn't their fault. If they got it through being "around" alot or using needles,
then I still feel sorry for them. Just not as sorry.

I feel sorry for anyone with a terminal illness that will one day steal away their lives. I feel even sorrier for them because they are judged and picked on because of their illness, as if having the disease isn't bad enough. They're still people.

Yes of course, we are all human beings, social creatures capable of empathy and compassion... none of us are perfect and we all make mistakes, if we are lucky we survive and learn but once in a while we don't.

i have mixed feelings, i guess it depends on the case. some people with the disease had not been properly educated about safe sex practices, while others just don't care and sleep with anyone and everyone.
