I'm considering taking the leap and buying a MacBook Pro (I'm currently a Windows guy). My work will require me to have access to a Win system since I cannot run Microsoft Project and Visio on a Mac....what are the benefits of taking the leap to Mac? Will my Win running on my Mac have any issues?

You can run Windows natively on your MacBook Pro just as you would be running it on a Dell/HP laptop. In many cases, the MacBook Pro has been shown to be a very fast Windows laptop as well! Look at http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/ for more info.

You can also run Windows XP in a virtual machine with 90-95% of the performance of running it natively (specially for items like MS Project and Visio -- games would be a different matter). (look at http://www.parallels.com). The latest version of parallels even supports using the Win XP bootcamp partition as your VM partition -- this enables you to run Win XP natively when performance is of the up-most importance, and to use it a Window alongside all of your other Mac apps when you just need compatibility with a Windows app.

This to me make the MacBook Pro one of the very best laptops in the market.

Enjoy

you can now work windows into your mac.... if you buy a new intel-based mac, you can install windows OS on your mac.

just go to the apple website (apple.com) and type or search BOOT CAMP and find out all about it

its actually really cool. I myself am thinking of using this!!!!
