My boyfriend and I love eachother very much but sometimes we spend too much time together and we begin to get on eachothers nerves. It usually turns into arguments and sometimes we break up nothin big but this time its different because we have a son. And I don't have time for this make up break up stuff anymore but he thinks thing are like back in the day. He thinks we can just break up and get back together. See I dumped him for trying to argue with my in front of our son. We were broken up for awhile and after a week he started calling me, crying, saying how sorry he is and how he wants to come home and how he wants us back. But now were back together but we'er still seperated, you see he lives in a different town and now he's trying to make more money so we can get a better house. But I'm not sure if getting back together was a good idea because I don't want to have to deal with this make up break s**t anymore. But what if things are different? I don't know! What should I do?

You have a child now. Perhaps it's time to ask your man to grow up, move back in, stop fighting with you and get married so you and he can get that house and you'll be more protected the next time you and he break up.

Oh come on...

Sounds like you are part of the problem. If you knew that you wanted to stop the cycle, then why did you "dump him for arguing in front of the kid?" That doesn't make sense.

In fact, none of this makes sense. I understand your hesitation to be a single mother, but you and this guy clearly aren't good for each other and may resent each other over what you see as an anchor weighing you both down. Let it die.
