Can a pregnancy test be correct if you drank alot of water before it was taken?

if its postive thenit wont matter but ifits negative it will...first morning urines always thebest because it gives the hormones enoughtime to build up goodluck to you!!

It shouldn't affect the results if you are pretty far developed in the pregnancy. If it's still a little early to test, it might water down the hormone present in your urine, which would skew the results. It's always best to use first morning urine just to be safe. If you're a couple months along, though, it shouldn't make a difference. Hope that helps!

A pregnancy test can be correct at anytime you take it when it says to take it. Water makes you pee a lot, but water doesn't tell if you are pregnant. Only the HCG level in your urine and your blood will pick up a pregnancy test.

You are supposed to take it early in the morning to get the highest Hcg levels.I would imagine that if you are, it will show that you are. I don't know that water can dilute it enough to show a false negative.

Yes, urine dilution can affect the test (especially if there isn't much HCG in your urine to begin with).
