the thing about being in public eye is everyone is after you for a story and something that they would rather not get in to the papers is reported i think stan has some mental problems but that has been apparent througthout his football carear

With certain people in the public eye you can never be sure if they cant handle the pressure and act up because of this or someone is setting them up for a fall; either way the tabloids have their field day and the middle classes shake their many chins in moral outrage.

If this man wasn't some sort of Z list celebrity then he would have gotten the jail for all the things he has done, but because he has made himself famous for playing football, he gets away with it. Seems like celebrities attend a different court than us mere mortals where the sentences etc are dished out in newspaper column inches.
