Even with medical statements, you can amass too many sick days and then their rights become just as important as yours. Too many days and you should have gone on disability or at the very least temporary workers compensation to protect your job. If you take so much time you endanger their rights and business, you can sue till you turn blue and get nothing but a kick to the curb and piles of lawyers bills and court costs. I'd be looking for a job and go before you get sent. Will look better on your record.

Your company deserves better than you. They hired someone to do a job, not someone with excuses galore to not work, topped off with legal threats. You need to do your employer a huge favor and pleasantly quit, then become self employed. Then you can answer to yourself for your excuses and when that doesn't work, you can sue yourself. It's nice to be self responsible, try it someday.

With your, "the world owes me a living or I'm going to get a lawyer" attitude, it's not hard to speculate your plans if you had actually delivered a child.

Find out if your county will help you with finding a lawyer to consult. Lawyers will be able to analyze your situation and all the documents you have relating to this and will be able to tell you your chances of winning. If you have a good chance, they could possibly take the case for just a percentage of whatever you win. If not, they will ask you to pay for their help because they don't think it's worth the cost.

In the US, it is not legal as long as you have the doctors notes. Get with a lawyer - they can't fire you. You have a right to take medical time off. Good luck!

...hello.

"due" or "do" this. ..??

you betcha they can release you.

they would need reasons and will have reason(s) of course...but there is no law that says they need to disclose them wholly to you or any.

your medical statements gives you some cause for being absent but provides no cause for your employers to keep you.

your medical statements simply detail why there is lost time.

your medical statements is not to over-rule the relationship between you and employer......merely details your personal relationship to place of employment.

so...not enough information to rule in your favour should you have determined and decided that you wish to remain working with ...

best wishes finding new employment.

It is their right to fire you. You have probably exceeded your allowable sick days and they have probably excused a few above and beyond what they agreed. It is still being nonproductive for the the company. Business is business.

A company needs to know that it's employees will be there when needed. It is unfortunate that these are your circumstances, but they have a right to terminate you.

They can fire you, even though it's not very nice. You will be able to collect unemployment, though, since it wasn't your fault you had to be off.

They can probably, but you should talk to a lawyer and find out what you can do...

In states that uphold "employment at will", you can be fired for any reason or just no reason.
