Yes you can link multiple USB hubs, however each additional hub should have its own power supply.
To connect your hubs in the most efficent manner either put one hub on each usb port on your computer or use one port then follow the instructions detailed below.
how do I connect the hubs together eficiently?
Step one plug hub one in to your computer, then plug it in to the mains with the power adapter that you either are supplied with or purchased seperately. then plug in each aditional hub to the first hub and again each additional hub must have its own Power supply unit plugged in and the switch on the hub and where provided should be set to self powered (for example on some four port hubs). however hubs with more than four ports normally come with a power supply adapter as standard that has to be plugged in.
when all your hubs are connected then you plug in your devices on the end of the line.
remember though that as a general rule there is a maximum number of ports and devices your system will recognise and allow you to install and use. this is often dependant on the operating system you use and the cpu and ram your system has available. however i forget exactly what the maximum number of devices is.

Yes but the signal will be weaker...

Remember you can use 16 port hubs that should be big enough or use D-lan adapters and use your electric ringmain to make extra access points...

Hope this helps,

Laura :)

Theoretically, you can have 128 USB devices on the go at the same time, but "passive" ones (ie. powered from the USB cable) would be more than a little short of power.

Yes, but read the documentation. The signal becomes weaker so the device my not work or only work intermittenly. Good Luck!
