if I buy an Xbox live 360 subscription card, will the subscription card work on my original xbox?

I want to play xbox live for the origional xbox, but cannot find any in the stores!

It should. i transferred my xbox 1 account up to 360. i think its the gold card.

if your talking about the 48 hour trials they should.
