I bought a ham sandwich with the virgin mary's image toasted into it for only $600.

I made a shrine for it in my foyer.

Ebay has got to be one of the greatest websites on the net. I've bought and sold for years. In fact I just got some stuff in the mail the other day from an auction.

YES, I've bought and sold and it's been great. In fact, for a couple of years, selling on eBay was my only job and that's how I supported myself. There's money to be made on there, trust me. I've also bought many items on there and my experience was always fantastic, althought I know that there are people out there who have had some unpleasant experiences.

I'm strictly a buyer. I've bought about 600 items on eBay, and I have only one feedback that is not positive. A few years ago, a joker sold me a clarinet that he advertised as being in excellent condition, but in fact it was a piece of junk not worth fixing. He withheld his own feedback until I'd given him mine, which of course was negative. He negged me in retaliation, so I complained to eBay. I couldn't get rid of that negative, but the sorry joker who gave it to me was banned.

One of my pet peeves on eBay are the hypocritical statements by sellers that they're withholding their feedback until the buyer gives his first, "so that I can be sure the buyer is satisfied with the transaction." In fact, the seller is trying to intimidate the buyer against leaving negative feedback.

Feedback is owed when a party to a trade fulfills his contractual obligations - and the other party should not unduly delay giving it.

Yes. I sold a CD for $150. I bought an Omega juicer and an out-of-print CD. I try not to use EBay if I can help it.

I bought a very beautiful formal dress on E-bay. It arrived quickly, fit perfectly and I'm glad I bought it.

Yes, I have bought many things from E-Bay. They were succesful too. But sometimes you can't be too sure. You have to look to see how many points they have for selling. See what others say also. Just be careful!!!

Yup bought a $900 stick shift setup for my car and once the lady got her money, she closed down her ebay account and paypal only gave me $150 back. If you buy anything on ebay make sure its not expensive. Oh and before i started using paypal i used a money order to pay for something that cost $50 and he claimed he shipped my product and didn't and he wouldn't prove he shipped it, so i lost $50 their too.
