Generally yes, but a few betta are just plain psycho. I have a male named snail slayer who hates black snails. It's really rare as the rest of my betta ignore the snail in their tanks.

Yes, this actually works very well. Most of the fighting Male Beta's do is by wrapping themselves around and squeezing, they don't seem to bite the antennae of the snails. Maybe it's because the snails move so slowly, and the beta moves so quickly, they are in different time zones! : )

Yep.
Just make sure the tank is big enough for both of them. Apple snails can get to be the size of baseballs and would need a minimum of like 10 additional gallons. A mystery snail would need maybe one additional gallon.
But other than that, yeah, it'll be fine.
Another fun choice is the African Dwarf Frog. Read up on 'em first though, they aren't for everyone.

Ummmm...... just make sure the snail cannot fit in his mouth because that snail could turn into escargo!!! Hope this helps!!!!!

Betta will attack other fish with long fins, but they'll be just fine with a snail.

yes, most normal fish will live with a beta. they only fight other betas.
