Why can't the Yahoo people form a simple query?
Is it all beyond them, or are they simply wary
Of writing in a language I'm afraid they'll never get--
Oh, why can't the Yahoo people learn to set
a question down that is grammatically concise?
(some folks actually do write clear questions, but, then again, not many of them are nice)
I quite agree.

Too many barely-literate people have access to a computer and an Internet connection.
My pet peeve is with people who use multiple question and exclamation marks; a well-crafted sentence only needs a single question or exclamation mark!

My guess is that some view this as kind of a blog and want to share an opinion more than ask a question.

I think it's internet-speak; it's almost a form of grammar that's acceptable here, and nowhere else. That's not to say I don't find it irritating, but it seems to be a fact of life, so what can you do?

You can probably make an educated guess about the answer just by looking at the responses you got.

I agree. This is supposed to be about answering questions, so please ask a question, that is legible and clear for everyone to answer!

its easy with phrases: just replace '.' with '?'
for e.g "go home."
"go home?", "i did it." "i did it?"...
