This is not a stupid question. The Liberty Bell is in Philadelphia but it is not inside Independence Hall. It has its own place of honor nearby on "the Mall". Valley Forge is located roughly 30 miles northwest of Philadelphia. If you are planning to visit these places you should also visit the Brandywine Battlefield south of Philadelphia. It was a Revolutionary War Battlefield. Gettysburg, arguably the most important Civil War Battlefield is west of Philadelphia and it, too, should be visited if you are planning a trip to Pennsylvania.

Liberty Bell is in Philadelphia in the Independence Hall.

Talk about sports, like Phillies and Pirates in baseball, Flyers for Hockey, 76ers for Basketball, Eagles for Football, and some history in Philadelphia is cool, like Declaration of Independence which was signed there.
