The best thing I have ever used I bought at Lowes and it was a acid type product, cost about 8 or 9 bucks but honestly it cleared the line immediately and has not stopped up again. I forgot the name but just ask in that department. It beats 90.00 an hour for a plumber.

they make a special wrench about $10 that can unscrew the drain. It looks like a small dumbbell, about 9 inches long with four prongs on each end sticking straight out. The prongs fit down on the inside of the drain and engage the protusions you see there when you look down into it. You slip that thing down and turn it till it catches. Then you will need either a large adjustable wrench or a pipe wrench to turn the device to the left till it breaks loose and turns. When you get it loose it will pull out and you will see a clump of your very own hair. Remove hair, put a bead of caulk or plumbers putty or silicone around the drain. reinsert the drain and tighten.

Bathtubs and showers often get clogged with hair. Many times, you can pull this out using a straightened wire hanger as the hair generally tends to build-up just inside the drain. Use the hanger to pry up bits of the hair and then pull it out and throw in the trash. Keep doing this until you no longer get any hair. Easier to do if your stopper is removable.

I would try some easy stuff first, before I get a lot of tools and scary liquids.
Get a plunger and plunge the hell out of it. Run some water down the drain, if necessary, to get it going. Hopefully, you'll soon see some particles -- formed from deteriorating hair and soap. The particles will come though the drain
Keep plunging, until you get them all, or until the water seems to be draining well, or until you get tired.
