You can't realy say who is a better cook b/c that's equal. You have some femals that don't like to cook and then you have some that does but that doesn't mean anything. As the same for me too. Just b/c you see alot of men in the cooking business doesn't mean that they are better. Men doesn't mind getting sweaty and messing so much as a female. But to answer the question, I think they are both equal. Some people have the passion and desire to be a cook.

Either or neither. It depends on whether each love cooking and have a passion for what they do, regardless of gender. Why you see more men cooking in a restaurant is because it's been it's been traditionally a male's profession for a couple hundred years. Women didn't try to break through the proverbial glass ceiling until the early 1900's. It's still harder for women to get ahead with cooking as a profession because it's still a male-dominated field.
Sad, but true.

I see Men cooking in the restaurants that I go to. However, I am going to say BOTH are better!

I'm a female but i think men cook better because I see a lot more men in restuarants than women they have better taste

It's not about man or woman, it is about being properly trained and having experience, The reason you see more men than women in culinary professions is because it is very hard work. It is a strenuous job with long hours and you are on your feet all day. Women often step down a notch when they have families.

Men are good with the BBQ! It makes them feel masculine. Women are good indoor cooks. Pastrys and brownies.
You need both to complete the perfect meal. So both men and women are equally good cooks

I think if you use gender as your criterion for choosing who cooks for you, no matter which gender you pick you will get hit-or-miss results.
If someone were to say men were better it would probably be because a guy would only bother cooking if he is good at it, whereas a woman would probably cook whether she is good or bad at it because she was expected to.

Depends my older brother is a great cook If I have a recipe I am passable as a cook.

I think they can be equally good. I just think women spend more time cooking then men. But it is usually men who are chefs in resurants.
