If it is possible, you should try to use System Restore. Usually, when you install a new piece of software, Windows will make a Restore Point. This is basically a snapshot of your software BEFORE installation. That way if something bad happens, you can simply go back to your old setup. To do this...
Click START, click ALL PROGRAMS, click ACCESSORIES, then click SYSTEM TOOLS. At the bottom of that list should be SYSTEM RESTORE. Click on that and it will bring up your restore menu. Simply select RESTORE MY COMPUTER... and look for a restore point that is dated previous to the date on which you installed the software. Or even ON the date of the installation, since that will be the restore point created when you installed.

NOTE: If your computer is running EXTREMEMLY slow, you may want to boot into SAFE MODE first. To do this, reboot your computer. While it is booting back up, keep hitting the F8 button. This will bring up a boot menu that asks you what you want to do. One of the options should be SAFE MODE. Simply select that and go into the safe mode. Once there, do the above steps to try SYSTEM RESTORE.
